A WORK OF ART INFUSED WITH INGENUITY, A REMINISCENCE BRIMMING WITH GRATITUDE
The Keisha Ring, which is decorated with the sacred Arabic symbols, oozes the mythical aura of the Middle Eastern culture. Behind its delicate design, is a beautiful tale that will easily touch the hearts of anyone it is told to.
The story takes us back in time, more than a decade ago in a village that is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The villagers there worked hard to make an honest living. Although they could barely make ends meet, they appreciated the little that they had and counted their blessings. One boy who grew up in this village could not apprehend why the people in the village seemed to be so uplifted and easily contented that despite having to work their fingers to the bones, they still can lead their lives filled with laughter and simple joys. Deeply puzzled, the little boy sworn that he will someday rescue his village from poverty, and eventually put an end to the vicious cycle.
As the boy grew up, he soon came to the realisation that hardship originate from our state of mind, and not how much we have or how much money we make. By changing our perspectives to look beyond materialistic possessions, and actually appreciating the little joys in life, we can break free from being caught up in the negativity that envelopes us. Yet the boy, who had grew up to become a jewellery designer, never forgotten the promise
he made to himself. To immortalise that promise and the enlightenment that he had gained from the place that made him who he is, he designed a unique ring and named it the Keisha Ring.
The word “Keisha” means to live a good life, which is exactly what he had hoped for the people of his village, as well as those who come in possession of the ring.
Living in a metropolitan city, the boy who had grown up to be a successful man can easily have all his materialistic needs met. But at the same time, he reminiscent about the simplicity of life and the real bond between the people of his village. The crystal at the centre of the ring represents the purity of heart of such people, the sincerity and humility that guide them in their relationship with each other. In the range of design, the Keisha Ring is available with crystals of five different shades, each representing one of the Five Elements: the colour gold represents the element of metal, the colour green represents the element of wood, the colour blue represents the element of water, the colour red represents the element of fire, and last but not least, the colour yellow represents the element of earth. The Keisha Ring of different element is to be worn according to the date of birth of the wearer.
The Keisha Ring was inspired by remembrance, upholding the honesty between people that breeds harmony. It serves as a reminder to oneself to never stop pursuing self-betterment and all that they dream of in life. Each ring is more than a piece of jewellery, it’s a dream. The dream that one little boy had and never gave up on, a dream that shall inspire others to build and fight for a better life.
